TOP 10 - Cholesterol Lowering Foods

Our Top 10 Cholesterol lowering Foods are good to know and understand.  As a responsible Food and Beverage Photography Studio, we want to occasionally add tips that can help our audience out.  These foods include: Almonds - 2 ounces a day will help raise healthy HDL and will lower bad LDL. Orange Juice - drink 8 ounces of sterol-fortified OJ.  Olive Oil - 2 tablespoons a day are rich in antioxidants and heart-healthy monosaturated fats.  Steamed Asparagus - Steaming veggies may do a better job of binding bile.  Oatmeal - great source of soluable fiber which helps prevent cholesterol from being absorbed into your bloodstream.  Pinto Beans - people who eat 1/2 cup a day have lowered cholesterol 8 percent in 12 weeks.  Blueberries - this is a nutritious superfood. Tomatoes - lycopene-rich tomatoes can knock down your percentage by 10.  Avacado - Lowers bad LDL and triglycerides.  Dark Chocolate - loaded with flavonoids which are antioxidants that lower cholesterol.

LOUNGE PARTY 14

Souders Studios hosted Lounge Party 14 on Friday, November 4th, 2011.  The Party was for all of our Food & Beverage Photography Clients, our Still-life and Lifestyle Photography Clients and Vendors and Friends of the Industry.  This exclusive event, by invitation only, was a huge success.  We had 87 guests in attendance.  The food was prepared on-site by two chefs, Nancy and Shelly.  The party entertainment was the Ricardo Pena Trio and they were fabulous.  Jay's Valet handled all of the parking.  Every year, Souders Studios and Square Pixels hosts a special event for our Clients and Industry friends.  This year's event featured specialty items such as goat cheese & sun dried tomato stuffed jalapenos.  We had handmade artisan chocolate truffles and even white port wine ice cream.  Please feel free to check out the images from the night's festivities by going to this link:

CONGRATULATIONS Souders Studios on being a Nominee at the 5th Annual Photography Masters Cup with winning entries in advertising still life photography, food photography and Americana photography.  The winning nominations were:

11,321 entries were received from 83 countries and Souders Studios work received a high percentage of votes overall. Certainly an achievement, well done! The Awards Jury represents the industry's biggest names and tastemakers who reviewed the entries online before making the nominations shortlist and honoring 272 title awards in 18 categories. The Awards could not have wished for a better group of professionals to work with.

MOUSSE'S BIRTHDAY

Mousse celebated his 11th Birthday this week at Souders Studios.  Mousse, Head of Security, for America's Premiere Food and Beverage Photography Studios says he loves his job.  Thanks to all of the fans that sent Mousse special birthday wishes this week.  We appreciate everyones thoughts and support and we hope to see you all soon!

GIVE 3 Charity Photography @ Firefly Autism

Souders Studios completed GIVE 3 @ Firefly Autism, creating some stunning photography for this very worthwhile charity.  We spent a day photographing the teachers with the students and got portraits of the executive staff and the board of directors.  "GIVE - a Souders Studios Project" is a non-profit project that donates photography and retouching services to deserving charities.  Firefly does some amazing things for autistic kids.  If you want to help them out, please vist their website at www.fireflyautism.org.  This is the 4th organization GIVE has helped over the past three years.  Applications for GIVE 4 will come out next Spring.  Thanks to the GIVE Team, GIVE Charity Directors and Austin Beadles for making this happen.
